Congratulations on learning about chicken raising BEFORE you get birds. My family had chickens when I was a kid, but joining this group quickly taught me that I had a LOT to learn!

BYC is a friendly, supportive community of people who know so much and are generous with that knowledge.

Don't worry about being new to posting; this was my first and is still my only forum. Once, when I was having issues with my computer AND an emergency with a bird, I accidentally posted the same thing about a dozen times. Everyone was kind and patient -- and the excess posts were deleted for me.
