Chicken newbie here

Hello,
We just bought a farm and will be moving in a couple of months. We plan to have a variety of livestock,including chickens; about 7-8 to start,( our daughter's request). As a family, the farm life will be new to all of us, but we are super excited to begin the adventure! I will gladly accept any/all the mentoring I can get. Thank you in advance!
