Fabulous!! I really appreciate it! I do read in here a lot of different things. Of course everyone has their way and I like to see the different things that have worked so I can decide which I will try when I have questions. Like combining these first 2 groups hasn't been going as well as I hoped. They are only 2 weeks apart but the speckled Sussex' are really going after the silver laced Wyandottes. The SLWs are piling on top of each other in the smallest spaces they can find. I finally decided to take the SS and put them in the dog crate jail so the SLWs can roam around. Plus I thought perhaps the SSs were just being a bit territorial. Figured they could be in the smaller space for a few days and then I'll try again. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. There was no blood and no one seems injured but one of the SLWs has always walked with a waddle of sorts and lays down a lot so I am most worried about her because they seemed to be targeting her more than the others. I mean they are going after all 4. I'm a bit over protective because this is my first experience with chickens so I haven't had to see them work out the pecking order before. Lol

Glad to meet you, B Payne. I loved reading your story about helping the weak baby chick. Well done! Now we all know about chick physical therapy! :clap Thank you for inventing it and for sharing pictures of your beautiful chickens. Best wishes with your birds and all your plans!

Thank you so much! I'm sure it was a bit extra but it made me feel like I was doing something to help. I think that helpless feeling when something looks weak or injured is the worst!!
