Chicken newbie needs all the tips . Breeds, etc

Hi. Everybody. I'm new to chickens and want to learn everything. What are the best breeds? Ideally I want a rainbow of egg colors but as far as breeds have no idea.

I suggest Easter Eggers, ours make some beautiful blue ones
