Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! I'm so excited to learn about my girls. That would be great if you had any ideas on if they're ready to lay! I snagged a few pics late last night but they may not be the best angles but here they are! This picture was just too cute of all 4 of them.

Not the best view but this is Condoleezza Rice or Condi and she is my only layer right now

This is Margaret Thatcher or Maggie because she's the head honcho I tried getting a side view but she's so inquisitive she kept running up to me. She's been squatting so we've been hoping that's a good sign?

This is Susan B Anthony (Susie B)

This is Amelia Earhart (because we're Boilermakers and she's a great flyer) Her comb and face were white when she arrived so she's come a long way.

Condi or Maggie are likely laying now.
Susie B will be soon.
I think Amelia will be the last to cough one up. Hers will be a white egg so you'll know hers from the others who will lay brown eggs.
They are all very close. Squatting is an excellent sign. It means she has reached sexual maturity and the eggs are coming.

Thank you so much! I feel so much more at ease knowing we’re not the reason they aren’t laying and we’re now just focusing on enjoying them!

You do! At $25 dollars a hen. We love animals so we knew there was no way we were going to take care of these girls for 6 months and not want to keep them.
