Hello everyone! My name is Lisa and my husband and I are new chickens.
We are currently raising 4 chicks who are now 6 weeks. We thought we had 1 roos and 3 pullets but turns out one of our pullets crowed this morning so… that’s that I guess lol.
we are currently trying to figure out the breeds of our chickens since we bought them as a mix. The one pullet turned roos is a copper head maran but the others were not sure of.
So far we are loving the chicken life. Our rooster Hank has the best personality, he loves to be pet and he has taken to jumping and sitting on my back when I bend down to change food or hand them fruit.
My questions and inquires always lead me to this forum so I figured I might as well join.
