Chicken newbie

:welcome :frow I agree with DobieLover. My biggest concerns would be a good size coop with a nice large pen (depending on how many birds you have) and predator proofing. You may go for a very long time before any predators discover your birds but they will eventually. Lessons learned the hard way. You may want to add to your flock so bigger is better. There are a lot of different ways to entertain your birds. Many people like to free range because they like to see their birds roam around in their yards. I call it yard candy. The birds can be just as happy in an enclosed predator proof area. Birds do have different personalities but not the ability to reason. Everyone is different with different ways of doing things. I have a lot of birds and several coops so what works best for me might work as well for another. Good luck and have fun...

I made this chicken ladder out of scrap wood.

Sometimes I buy flock blocks for the birds and sometimes I make them.
