Welcome to BackYardChickens! So glad to have you here in our wonderful community of friendly, helpful, knowledgeable people! Always wanted to travel to the UK. How's your weather? Sunny all the time? I have heard that Oregon climate is similar to yours.

We are enjoying a warm few days at the moment though so the pen building for our 7 new girls is nearly complete, our daughter moved to Kansas Manhattan 10 years ago when she married an American, certainly enjoy the warm weather when we visit! Not sure about Oregan weather though

Well the pens complete and the girls are settling in well.
We had some rain last night so maybe there will be a few more worms around, I think the bugs and worms heard the thunder of 7 pairs of tiny feet and headed for the hills!! Maybe they’ll be back( poor things) I never realised what amazing eyesight a chicken has got when it comes to critters!
