Chicken Newby!

Hello! I'm new to chicken raising. Right now we have 6 Easter Eggers we've raised since chicks and two have begun laying. This forum seems pretty good for asking questions. My girls are all named and 4 months old now. The funniest thing we've noticed so far is that there is the one which began laying first who does an "egg song". At first we thought something was wrong with her, then we figured it out. She even does her "egg song" when the other one that lays is having an egg. We won't be eating our chickens and they are basically for eggs and as pets. Looking forward to reading the posts.
