Prior to the chicks, I used it as my poor-man's security system for when I was away from home. It only seemed natural to set it up in the coop once I brought the girls home from the local feed store. I may pick up another one or two, one again for my own house, but maybe another one for a different coop location once the chicks are more grown up and I've opened the rest of the coop to them. 24-7 entertainment!

For anyone interested, here's a quick clip from my coop-cam. It's warm out today so I took off the front face to give the girls some fresh air and some new scenery to take in. You'll notice I can control the camera's tilt and pan from either my computer, iPhone or iPad apps. The iOS apps allow me to record directly to whichever device (iPhone or iPad) I happen to be viewing them from.
