chicken noob needs help.

I bought some baby chickens in december. Is there anything I can do to encourage laying? What else should I know about them?

It takes forever when your watching for the first egg... Just make sure they get good nutritious feed, and be sure they have a calcium supplement available. What kind are they?

The people on this forum are not gonna bite on "what should I know." You have 6 mo. old (grown) chickens!!!! What don't you know?

My chickens have been holding out until they were 9 to 10 months old before giving up there eggs..

8 months here, I had stopped looking every day and I went to look one day and there were 9 eggs there
