Also they are one of the most intelligent birds, Right up there with crows, Infact they are the only known bird to be able to recognise themselves in a mirror.

I've heard of people keeping crows and rooks, but I guess magpies are smaller and prettier, huh?
I'm going to try and get a cockatiel when I get the chance. Right now I don't have enough room for a bigger cage.

Oh yeah I forgot to add, There are lots of magpie species but the pic I posted was an Australian one. (most common, Or at least in Oceania)

Yeah, Although I’m not from Australia, I live in New Zealand where the magpies were introduced from Australia to control pests or something, But now they just harass all the hawks and local birds lol.
