I have a 2 year old Easter Egger, she had been laying 1 egg a day, even through the cold winter, and as soon as it warmed up, she has stopped. She's eating well, drinking, eating her treats. She does have a bit of diarrhea though, but her droppings look normal. She seems to be walking around a bit slower though, but not lethargic. Could she be egg bound..? I really don't know a lot about chickens, just learning as we go. Thanks in advance!

Okay I am having the same issue, except her poos are normal. She also is an Easter Egger and lays through the winter too, when the others take a break. If fact she seem perfectly normal. She doesn’t at all act broody, which is what I had wondered at first. I have a little camera in my coop, and she will go into the nest every morning as usual and sit for awhile then leave, but no egg. She eats, and drinks normally. I have 3 chickens, this is their 3 summer laying. Will chickens one day just stop laying eggs?

Chickens shouldn't just stop laying eggs unless they are molting.
Sometimes overload of worms can make them stop.
Sometimes they haven't really actually stopped laying but are instead laying internally.

Feel the belly area to see if it is full and hard or full and squishy.

Her crop seems hardish, everything else seems normal...
