I hope I have went to correct section for new member introductions, so here is goes. My husband, myself, and 6 year old son have 27 hens, 2 roosters, 2 guineas, and 1 turkey...my husband has had chickens before, but this is the first time we are venturing on this together. We ordered the chicks through mail and next month, June 2018, they will be one year old. A friend and co-worker has been my mentor and helped me out so much, but I frequently google questions and end up here, so I thought I would become a member so that I can seek out others to help answer my questions. And I have tons of questions and always learning so I can't wait to pick the brains of so many chicken owners!

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
