(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We had chickens some time ago - around 1995. Really enjoyed them but then had to move and donated them to a friend. Last year we moved back into a rural area on 7 acres and I rebuilt the existing chicken shack into a safer and move efficient coop.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 14 hens and a Bard rooster
(3) What breeds do you have?
Mostly reds, 2 Arcana, and 2 gray ones... not sure their type.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Of course we live the eggs, but also enjoy just interacting with them and observing their character. God entertainment.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Mostly retired now, enjoy working on and enjoying the property. We are developing it a little at a time.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
15 chickens, a car that ran away from the neighbor and adopted us, lots of deer and bunnies

We were searching for feed information and your link came up on the Google search.
