well today was first day I let the chicken out of the brooder lose in the house, had to put the two pups in their crates and the cat in the bedroom. We only let 3 out today, wanna make sure they dont get hurt and we can handle all 8 at once! well we let them out in the kitchen and where do they go? My lap !! well, at least they like me here are some pictures! the three we got out were Foghorn (Leghorn) Pox (speckled Sussex) and Drumstick ( red star)

well today we decided to put sand in half of their brooder since they keep on trying to dust bath in the pine shavings. Decided to keep the water on the pine shavings side. Think it will make for an easier cleanup

thank you ) I just cant get enough of them !! There are only two who are a little scared of us, Sunny and Foghorn. of course a leghorn and I THINK sunny is a leghorn, not sure yet.

well I think we have a cockerel on our hands ! Pox still has no tail feathering and Dumpling same breed and same age has Tons of feathers...here are some comparison pictures
