Also, does anyone know where's the best place to look for ayam cemani roosters? I would love to be able to add this breed to my breeding program!

I know Meyer Hatchery sells them, but I don't remember them being very cheap. And right now it looks like they've only got females.

I want zombie chicks, and my plan was to order zombie hatching eggs in the spring. But now I'm wondering if I should get a white leghorn roo and Ayam Cemani hens and go that route.

I tried zombie chicks before, but instead of a leghorn I bred my old ayam cemani rooster with a Silkie

How'd it go? My neighbor has one zombie, a hen. But she bought her as a pullet so I'm not exactly sure of her cross.

They were beautiful! And half even got the silkie feathering. I'll see if I have a picture of one

That's great! I bet they were beautiful!

White leghorn chicks are usually easy to find at RK here. I've never seen Ayam Cemani chicks locally though. Knowing my luck, I'd get straight run chicks of the leghorns and end up with all pullets the one time I wanted a male.
