A few had all black satin feathers. About more than half had the really cool "zombie" look!

That's great! I bet they were beautiful!

White leghorn chicks are usually easy to find at RK here. I've never seen Ayam Cemani chicks locally though. Knowing my luck, I'd get straight run chicks of the leghorns and end up with all pullets the one time I wanted a male.

I don't know if it's just me, but almost all of the chicks I've hatched this year were roosters.

I want zombie chicks, and my plan was to order zombie hatching eggs in the spring. But now I'm wondering if I should get a white leghorn roo and Ayam Cemani hens and go that route.

Love it! That's actually what my neighbor called her zombie chicken!
