I have a Buff Orpington hen that sets ALL THE TIME. I'm not even sure if any of the eggs are hers because all the other hens tend to lay in her box.
I have fertile quail eggs and wondered if I could separate her from the rest of the flock and put some of my A&M eggs under her to hatch.
Whacha think???
And in reading up on broody hens I found out that they set for 30 days. Does that mean once you stop taking the eggs away from her? Or do I need to wait for some sort of cycle to start before I place the eggs??
