LOL I was expecting a broiler on the BBQ. Looks like a handsome Welsummer.

Thanks all! I believe he does look like a Welsummer. Do they have slate feet? He's a nice boy, no matter breeding.

Welsummers have yellow legs, looks more a like a Black Copper Marans with out any shank feathering. Oh and

I think he's a mixed breed. Dark legs and face, that extra leakage on the wings all says mix to me.

I never had such a pretty bird. I thought he was probably a mix. I didn't think anyone would purchase purebred eggs for a kindergarten project. Thanks much!
