I have 1 NN and this will be her first Winter in Upstate NY-her Mommy ( Nava) lives in Florida so she is in for a real treat. I have scarfs for her-baby socks with toes cut out-stop laughing Im serious! She will be kept near the heating lamps as it gets 20 below here-whatever it takes to keep her warm

They are all going to be laying hens. Started with 8 Old hens from a livestock auction and got the fever, Love my Girls!. Building a new coop with the new batch of youngster. Check this out

12 nesting boxes with outside access.
Vented roof soffits and windows for ventilation
Dirt floor for deep litter method
will have automatic door

12 of the chicks are going to a buddy we are splitting them leaving me with 20 total. 6 are not laying to old just chillin.
