I found out that Oak Creek WI does not allow chickens. Is there anyone in this area that could help me change the law?
Thanks
Thanks

I am in Oak Creek also, was thinking the same but with everything going on right now with the burning chicken farms and them blaming eggs for the clots, I doubt if it would go anywhere. I'll see if I can find out where to start or if they will totally shut us down.I found out that Oak Creek WI does not allow chickens. Is there anyone in this area that could help me change the law?

Are you thinking of raising them, or are you doing it stealth? I may do it anyway, with or without permissionI am in Oak Creek also, was thinking the same but with everything going on right now with the burning chicken farms and them blaming eggs for the clots, I doubt if it would go anywhere. Just wanna let you know I began corresponding with my alderman. He says other residents have also inquired. Contact alderman if you haven't already. We gotta be able to keep birds. The eggs don't cause blood clots. That was a lie spread by fear pornAre you thinking of raising them, or are you doing it stealth? I may do it anyway, with or without permission

Oh, almost forgot to tell you I sent another email to him today letting him know I'm aware that all the surrounding municipalities allow chickens via a permit. How many birds do you want to keep? Thanks. I Sent an email to my alderman again last Friday. He sent one back stating they're still researching the issue. My alderman happens to be president of the Common Council. I asked if the issue was going to be on agenda for their meeting where citizens could speak. There is a meeting tomightvat 7pm I believe. I would like to attend, just to maybe meet them in person. What do you think?4 hens was what I was thinking also, I am going to e mail the alderman tonight.
