Chicken Ordinances changed in the last year

Hi, I'm *still* working to try and get my town (Cary, NC) to allow backyard hens. One of the things we want to be able to point out is the number of places around the country that have changed their laws in the last 12 months (approx July 1 2008 to now) to allow hens.

If you know of any cities that have changed over the last year or so, please post the name and state!

In Oregon, the following cities have added a chicken ordinance in recent months: Forest Grove, Cannon Beach. The following Oregon cities are currently working on chicken ordinances: Salem, Phoenix, and Cave Junction.

I know that Ashville, NC just passed an ordinance a couple of months ago.

In Utah, Draper City just passed their new chicken friendly ordinance, and Un-Incorporated Salt Lake County is working on theirs. Not so chicken friendly currently.
