I was wondering what the ordinances are like in Costa Rica for keeping chickens. Is it "chicken friendly" there?

Thanks

I can't answer on any of their laws, but after traveling for a week in CR last fall, there were chickens everywhere. City streets, mountain sides, country, rain forests. Everywhere. So I assume they don't have any limits or if there are, doubt they enforce any particular poultry laws.

Costa Rica and chickens are very close together! Almost 50% of the population has them. My Costa Rican fiance & I are looking to get some now for our "back yard". Answer is: you can have chickens in Costa!
