Chicken out on Rain days

So does using the water hose to convince them the juniper hedge isn’t a good place to burrow in and lay eggs.

Heck when it rains around here my chickens run out and look like a bunch of kids that heard the pool was open after all winter.

I figure they know where the dry is and know where the wet is. Same with water, I give them nice clean water and they would rather go drink out of the mud hole they are stomping in. A chicken is gonna be a chicken. As long as they keep giving me eggs I don't care.
