Chicken parasite problem

Hello friends. I'm new to BYC and believe I have some parasite problems with my chickens. I'm kind of new to raising chickens as well. I had some chickens given to me. The had scaley feet. I just thought it was the previous harsh living environment. I've had them for several months. Now I'm noticing my egg production is down by like half. Missing feathers and redness on my chickens and roosters. Please help! I'm not sure what to do.

Yes, scaly leg mites. You might want to try treating with Pam spray or Vaseline. You'll have to apply it daily for a while. It helps to wash the legs first with a soft tothbrush, gently.

Thanks so much for the input. I did some more research, and i may have more than one kind imfortunantly. So I'm going to jelly the legs and dust them; and super clean my coop. Hopefully within a week or so my ladies will be much happier! Thanks again.
