Chicken pecking at water to drink?

I have a seven month old EE hen that for some reason pecks at the water to drink it? I have a regular water container where they just drink out of.

She obviously has found a way to make it work, otherwise she wouldn't be alive now

IMO there's no need to be concerned. If she's been doing it all this time, then she will be fine. Just a little special
