Chicken Pecking Order

Hello! Yesterday I got two new chickens that are a two month old. I have two chickens that are 1 month old. I let them meet each other and they don't seem to get along... Watch this.

So ya. I really need to start getting the chicks outside but I don't want them to get beat up on all day. Please help. Thanks.

I have 10 chickens around 2 months old and 3 around a month and a half. And ours do that too! They just started going into the coop on their own with the older ones at night to roost but during the day they get picked on! Do you have a run to keep the older chickens in? We keep our older ones locked in the run and let the little ones run free.

Ya I do. I remember on google It said its good so they can see each other but not hurt each other is that what you are suggesting)

Yes, we built a small 5Lx4Wx3tall A-frame chicken tractor. It cost about $60 to make and 3 hours to make. It sits on top of grass and they loved it! Every other day we would move it to another spot so there wouldn't be too much poop in there or the grass wouldn't die. But yeah, they need to be kept separate unless supervised until they are similar in size.
