Chicken pen around your garden

Has anybody made their chicken pen surround their garden?
I'm looking at possibly redoing the pen so I can cover it and one of the options is next to the garden (which is 23x23). My thoughts are to construct a pen around three sides of it.
If you've done such a thing, did you get an benefit with the garden - maybe less bugs that eat what you are trying to grow?

I just looked into it recently but have not make any decisions. Look for "chicken tunnel" on youtube for examples. The bug barrier is the main selling point, but our pest bugs are either flying (butterflies/caterpillars) or slugs happily living in garden beds mulch so I am not sure if it would be any help.

Have you consider using chicken tractor or mobile coop/fence directly on to garden beds between growing seasons instead?
