There, I said it! (couldn't figure out where to post this) The local poultry community has done the ultimate chicken swap and taken care of my dilemma. I had 2 roos, one gorgeous but obnoxious, the other sweet but seriously wounded by one of my furry hooligans (my fault). Between the 2, we were going nuts with wound care/isolation and the usual roo lack of gentlemanly courtesy. Just wanted to say Thanks to Ray and Storm for giving the roos good homes (someone actually took the wounded boy to nurse back to health!) and giving me 2 lovely new girls. Y'all may be as crazy as I am, but at least we all help each other out. May all your nests be feathered and full of yummy breakfast; may all your roos be well-mannered!
