We have a hen who was stripped of feathers by the rooster last fall. Then we had a pecking problem. It is a mixed flock and she is the only white splash. We put on aprons that worked for awhile then we put on pinless peepers which worked great! But all of a suddden she started getting pecked again. We never see anyone doing it but we see her doing it. We isolated her and it started to get better and then it got worse again. She was isolated it has to be her doing it to herself. Does this sound logical? Today I am going to run and get a cabbage for her to peck at. The birds have enough room. Ideas?
