Chicken Plucker ???????

Have any of you tried the duck plucker that is sold in hunting stores that goes on a drill? I was woundering how good they would be on chickens.
 
I haven't heard good things about tose. I think you're apt to break the skin unless you're very good at it.

The only plucker I've ever seen used, anywhere, is the Featherman.
 
from past experiences I would avoid them. The skin on your chicken is a lot more tender tham that of a duck. It will tear very easy and just make a mess of things. If that is your only option then I would just hand pluck them. It will work just as quick.
 
Hand plucking can be fun, too. I know you are laughing at me out there, but I actually like it.
