What kind of pluckers do you use? And where can I rent a plucker?

We have an EZ Plucker (tub-style), but I have no idea how you would find one to rent.

Check feed stores and Craigslist, but I rent mine from the local conservation district. $20 for a plucker, scalder, and kill cones for the weekend.

I made a drill plucker. If I get the scald right, it cleanly plucks a bird in about 30 secs.

The first one we will be using for an MPU for folks to rent. Now that I have used some of these, I will never again do without one. 4 birds in 20 seconds, and they are clean as a whistle.

Dh bought the supplies for me on Friday to make one. Praying it works well. Hand plucking hurts.
