What kind of fiber do you work with if you don't mind me asking?

Not at all, I use faux fur (this one is from Monterey Mills in Wisconsin), fleece and some scale vinyl for the feet. Silkies I use faux leather for the beak and feet. Threads I use polyester embroidery for the machine and T6 nylon for hand stitching.

That's cool. Do you think that you'll end up using animal fiber?

Been trying to improve on the pattern and techniques. The main body still needs stuffing, but one of the latest chickens:
