Hello all. I am curious if it is ok to use chicken poo for a palm tree fertilizer. What i would like to do is add my pine shaving/chicken poo combo directly to the area around the palm trees(without first composting). Some in containers and some in the ground. I use the deep litter method. My poo however does not seem to break down as it seems to just dry up. Really nice actually, very minimal smell ( absolutely no ammonia smell). Please redirect this to another forum if you feel it may be better anwered somewhere else. Back Yard Chickens rock!
