So I have maybe a problem. My 2 year old production(sexlink) don't know the difference was being picked on and had white poo on her back feathers. Moved her to the tractor, gave her a bath. Comb is red eyes clear. In searching, finding nothing, my BYC friends on WI cheeseheads pointed me to this chart....http://chat.allotment-garden.org/index.php?topic=17568.0. For newbies might be helpful but I did not find my chicken poo on there. It is black w/ clear bubbles on the top of it. Does anyone know if this is normal poo, her chicken friends miss her.? Thanks.

I don't know if it's 'normal' but mine have it all the time, and they're just fine...have been for five years

Oh, and I'm gonna check out that chart, I like the concept!

Thank you Madam, that makes me feel better, but, I think I will keep her quarantined for a few days.

Firstchic, that's probably a wise move. Do you have a pic of the poop? That might help some. A lot of poop depends on heat and stress. If she was getting picked on she's probably a little stressed so her poops different :)
