I know this isn't really coop design. BUt I couldn't decide where to put it.

I know that chicken manure is good for plants.
I know that straight manure will burn plants.

I have two bantams right now. They like to hang out on my porch and potted plants. They poo on the porch. I spray off the porch and the poo water flows into my roses. Also I have no doubt that they have dropped presents in the potted plants. Should I put hay or something around the plants so the poo isn't directly on the dirt beneath them? It isn't a lot of poo...So will this little bit kill the plants? Also, I am sure some of the poo goes between the cracks under the porch. Will this be a problem? I am working on a solution to keep them off the porch but if they run around my yard they will always be pooping under some plant or another.

It is only 2 bantams so not much poo. I think it will be fine. The poo under the porch should not pose an issue since again it is not much and will decompose before it can build up and make a stink.
