Chicken Poo...

Hi there, I have noticed over the last week that some of the droppings being left by 1 or more of my girls doesn't look right. The poo just looks like loose blobs of black tar, I am thinking maybe a sign of worms?? But have not seen any worms as such, the girls were wormed with a treatment solution from the pet shop around 1 month ago.
I have been told that the herb "wormwood" is good to grow around the yard & that the hens will eat it as they need to keep the worms at bay. Has anybody else tried Wormwood as a natural alternative to the chemical treatments???
Any ideas about what could be causing the black tar poo??? Is it still safe to be eating the eggs???

Thanks heaps countrygoddess for the poo chart, yes the tarry looking 1 is very similar to the droppings that i am getting, thanks for the info, who knew that "normal" looked so gross.
