I have 10 barred rock hens who are 9 months old. They started laying about two months ago and was getting about 8 eggs a day until about two weeks ago. They completely stopped laying. It's been wet and rainy here and the temperature goes from high 80's to 50's. As they stopped laying though I noticed some of my hens having...for lack of a better word...explosive watery poop with what looks like grass in it.
Everybody's color is good and everybody is eating well. I didn't change their feed prior to their cease of production. I'm a new chicken owner and am beside myself. No mites that I can see and no unusual feather loss.
