I have 4 2 year old chickens and one has not laid an egg since 3/8/23, which I didn't think too much of. Today when I went to check for eggs I noticed the chickens had egg yolk on their heads, again didn't think too much about I have had eggs crack and they will obviously eat them. When I looked in the nesting box I saw a little bit of weird poop which I will post a picture of. I am not sure if this is normal poop or not. So I checked the one who has not laid in a couple of days, and she had yolk on her butt, not coming from her vent just some on her butt. I am worried a egg was broken inside her but I have never dealt with this, so I am wondering if that did happen what should I be looking out for? I am worried I don't want to lose her especially if I can prevent it. They are all acting normal. Thank you in advance!!!

If she's acting normal that's good.

I'd clean her up if she had yolk on her vent feathers, that will become a sticky mess.
Possibly she sat on an egg that was already broken if she just had the yolk on the feathers and you noticed the hens have been eating eggs.
If she were having difficulties, then you may notice her acting a bit off - not eating/drinking well, lethargy, hunching over.

The yellow urates could indicate something going on with the liver, but not always.
What do you feed, including treats?
