Hello!
I have a one year old hen that has recently slowed her production. She laid all winter and in the last couple of weeks has only laid a few eggs. She seems fine otherwise with the exception of her poop!
It is normal droppings but the urates are yellow.
No lethargy, no decrease in appetite, and acting normally.

Very worried 😟

They get kalmbach 17% crumbles and rarely get treats which is usually something like strawberry tops or scrambled eggs with shells. They do not free range

It's different that's for sure, I don't think I've seen urates quite like that texture, hopefully others will chime in. If she's acting normally, then I'd monitor her.

not sure about urates but her poop looks dry. does she drink enough water? try to give her lettuce, apples or anything that contains water.
It had been in the run on pine pellet dust , but I could offer her something with more water in it. I do often see her at the waterer and her poops on the droppings board aren’t this dry
