Chicken poop

So I have a rooster that spends most of his time on the deck and in the house when he can but this morning he started pooping a little blood in his normal poop. It's not runny poop. It's solid and there's only streaks of blood but my vet is not open yet. Any ideas to what could be causing the blood?

It's solid and there's only streaks of blood but my vet is not open yet. Any ideas to what could be causing the blood?

13 weeks and I'll do my best to get a picture

It's the best I can do, it's a small amount of blood this time but normally it's like a third of the poo

It's a faverolle rooster

And normally it's deep red and a little mucousy

The picture above is just a little intestinal shedding which is normal.

Looks like some shedded intestinal lining.
But if you are worried about beginning coccidiosis you can treat him with Corid/Amprolium for a few days as it won't hurt.
