Well, hubby just bought the sliding drawer runners and we plan to mount it on the inside of the coop. Who else has a pop door like this? Can we just use wood for the door?

I have a guillotine pop door. Only problem I have with the wooden door and the wood track is that sometimes when it is really moist out it want to stick and we have to help it up and down. Probably could make the track wider and solve it. Doesn't happen often enough that I have bothered to fix it.

I know this is a older post, but just wanted to say thank you.
I converted a 8x8 resin shed into my coop and I was having a heck of a time trying to figure out the pop door.
The only difference with mine is, being its resin/plastic, i built a frame on the outside as well and bolted it all the way through.
You saved me a lot of headaches so thank you again!
