Chicken Pox Chick?

Are we sure this is fowl pox?

I am astonished at this little guy's will to live, but I am also losing hope because this warty stuff just won't stop. Since my first post it's grown so fast and there is definitely some in his mouth because he can't fully close it anymore.

As suggested I've been giving him the vitamins and feeding water carefully through his beak. As of yesterday he was able to eat on his own, but I haven't seen him try yet today.

Should I euthanise? I have never done that before and don't know how, I also don't want to if there's any chance of recovery.

Like I mentioned, it takes several weeks or more for fowl pox to go away on its own. Since it's in his mouth, aka wet pox, and given the severity of the infection, it might be in your best interest to cull and end his suffering.
When I cull a bird, I normally use a .22 bullet to the head. I've also sliced the throat with a sharp knife.

Personally, I would euthanize this bird, but I am not much for prolonging/treating serious issues.

This is how I end birds I am not going to eat:
Cervical Dislocation is shown in this video at about 1:00,

it's the only CD video I've found that doesn't remove the head.

-Notice the slight divot in the ground under the stick and neck, this will keep the bird from being choked.

-Notice that she slowly stretches out the neck and legs before giving the short sharp jerk that breaks the neck close to the skull, this is key to success IMO.

I've found this technique to be very effective.
