Chicken Pricing

Hello everyone,

I have a question about selling my chickens. An acquaintance has expressed interest in buying from me since I’m a well-known chicken lady.

I have sold chickens before, but wanted some feedback on my prices. Normally I sell started pullets for $15/e, young birds for $10/e, and chicks for $5/e. The birds I’m selling are hybrids between two breeds, not purebred.

So, do you think these prices are reasonable? If not, should I be charging more or less? Any input would be helpful, thanks!

Those are the same prices I use too.

Just depends on the marker where you are. If people are happy to pay that price then I see no problem

$15 seems like a reasonable price for mixed breed chickens.
