Chicken pulling out feathers and cracking noise

I have a quarantined chicken who is on amoxicillin right now for salpingitis. She has been preening a lot and shaking her head often. Just within the past few days she has starting pulling a bunch of feathers out! I have no idea why she’s doing this. She also has a limp but i couldn’t see anything wrong but every time i pick her up i hear a cracking noise and i’m really concerned. She was supposed to have a vet appointment soon but they keep rescheduling it and it’s getting farther and farther away. Help!

She is probably starting to molt. The feathers surrounding her and the white down showing through feathers is a clue. The cracking sounds need to be investigated. Let us know what the vet thinks. Does anything look dislocated?

How would I be able to tell? I couldn’t feel any heat or swelling. Attached a video below of what her hip sounds like
