Sidenote: DH has gotten the internet signal working a tad...he figured out how to get the equipment working a little...he slapped it around and held a gun to it.
I am serious...that was the technique he used. hahahaha
Thanks, Chel. I'm slowing quilting the tablecloth, several blocks finished already, but I had a bit of an accident today. Tonight, DH and I bought and loaded up a cord of wood into his truck and in the process, I smashed the middle fingernail on my right hand, the one the thimble goes on, of course.
So, not sure how much this will slow me down. It smarts, big time.
ETA: The finger is better, at least good enough to wear the thimble (I use a rubber one). I have 7 of the 15 blocks quilted on the tablecloth now, so slowly but surely, I'm making progress. Itching to go to the next three projects. I think I like the designing and piecing much better than quilting and it's a struggle to hand quilt with the stitches I used to be able to make. Honestly, in general, I do prefer the look of hand quilting, if it's done well, but I still would love to be able to machine quilt the smaller items. I just am struggling with that.
