(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Currently do not have chickens but have been working toward having enough space for them. Would like to own some in the next 6 months.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None...unfortunately!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Would like some Barred Rock, Buff Orpington, and Austrolorps to start a flock.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The eggs and companionship!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening....anything outdoors.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Young children who are fearless and curious!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I decided to join in order to both get the opinions of other more experienced owners and to document our journey in getting and raising backyard chickens!
