I have a chicken raising two biddies of her own, one hatched naturally and one hatched in an incubator. We now have two guinea eggs that are about to hatch in an incubator cuz mama guinea would not sit on them. Can I put the newly hatched keets in with the mama chicken? Will she brood them? Will the biddies try to hurt the keets? Will the keets be fed and cared for by mama chicken like she did her own biddies?? All new to me. Not sure what to do or how to raise the keets once they hatch if mama chicken or the biddies don’t accept them. HELP!!!

:welcome Most hens imprint on their chicks shortly after hatching and will not accept others especially if there is a difference in appearance. I would be very cautious about trying to foster Guinea fowl keets to a hen with an established brood.
