Chicken Ready

I have our 8 chicks(3wks old) in the house in a Large Rubbermaid container.....they are getting BIG....do I need to get them outside or in a bigger container? Temps around here haven't yet passed 60...

If you have a draft-free coop and a way to plug in a heat lamp, put them outside. The last time I hack chicks, they were hatched in early April and out in the coop within the first couple of days. I had 2 heat lamps at different heights, and my "brooder" was some 8" high lawn edging made into an oval. At 3 weeks, they should be OK without any kind of thing like that. Just give them some heat, bedding and food and water.
